Mubasher: Jiyad Holding Co has purchased a stake of 31% in Petroglobal, a Kuwaiti limited liability company (LLC), according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.

The stake is valued at KWD 5.7 million ($18.9 million), while the equity rights of the purchased stake reached KWD 18.6 million as registered on the selling date.

The financial impact of this deal will be registered in the income statements on 31 December 2017.

At the stock level, Jiyad was the most active stock on which 6.85 million shares were traded on Wednesday at a total value of KWD 588,000.
